In Loving Memory of Holly Holly, born on October 10, 1974, in the quaint town of Carthage, New York, peacefully departed this world on October 31, 2026, surrounded by the comfort of her home. She was the cherished daughter of the late Bertha and Donald Benware, and the beloved sister of the late Darlene Elmer and Sandi Elmer. A spirited soul with an entrepreneurial heart, Holly was an alumna of SUNY Canton, where she earned her Associate of Arts degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences in May 2025, achieving the highest honors as she graduated summa cum laude. Her pursuit of knowledge did not end there, as she continued her studies in Applied Psychology, driven by a profound desire to understand the human mind and soul. Holly's life was a tapestry of creativity and compassion. She was a visionary who owned and operated several businesses and was the creative force behind Heart & Hope Publishing. This endeavor was more than a business; it was a reflection of her deep-seated belief in the transformative power of stories, self-expression, and hope. Through her children's books and insightful writings on mental health, she aimed to inspire others to discover their self-worth and embrace their potential. Above all, Holly's greatest pride and joy were her family. She was a devoted mother to her three daughters, Tori Scott Steiner, Cecelia Scott Oborne, and Delilah Scott, and a doting grandmother to her precious grandchildren, Paisley, Saylor, and Rhea. Her family was her world, and she dedicated herself to building a home filled with love, warmth, and encouragement. The laughter and memories shared with her daughters and grandchildren were treasures she held dear, and she worked tirelessly to provide them with the security and nurturing environment she believed every child deserved. Holly is survived by her life partner, Louis Beck Jr., who was her steadfast companion, and her loving siblings: Jeanne Randazzo and her husband Frank, Kathy Elmer, Randy Elmer, Danny Elmer and his wife Nancy, and Gary Elmer. She also leaves behind cherished nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends who will forever hold her memory close. A private ceremony will be held to honor Holly’s life. The family kindly requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to a charity of one's choice, reflecting Holly's generous spirit and commitment to making the world a better place. In a heartfelt message to those she loved, Holly shared: "Though my journey has come to an end, my love will live on in the hearts of those I leave behind. Remember me with laughter, cherish the memories we made, and always know that loving you was the greatest joy of my life. Until we meet again, carry my love with you." Holly's legacy of love, creativity, and kindness will continue to touch the lives she graced, a testament to a life beautifully and fully lived.

In lieu of flowers, the family of Hollyn Benware welcomes donations to a charity, nonprofit, church, or organization of your choosing.
