It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of Holly Christine McIntosh Featherman, a beloved partner, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. Holly departed this world on June 22, 2026, at the age of 56, after a courageous battle with cancer. Her indomitable spirit and love for life will be remembered by all who knew her.
Holly was born on August 29, 1969, in Cincinnati, Ohio, to the late Lonnie "Mack" McIntosh and Gail Bailey. From her early days in Cincinnati, Holly exhibited a zest for life and a deep compassion for those around her. She cherished her family above all, drawing strength and joy from her close-knit bonds.
A devoted partner, Holly shared a beautiful life and home with Jerry Gray for 30 years. Their relationship was a testament to deep love and mutual respect, built upon shared dreams and unwavering support. Together, they created a sanctuary filled with laughter, warmth, and countless cherished memories.
Holly was a proud and loving mother to Sarah Jane Rowe and treasured the moments spent with her brothers, Harry, George, and Rick McIntosh, and her dear sister, Lonita Caldwell. Her family was her heart, and she held them close, celebrating every milestone and supporting them through every challenge.
The proud grandmother of seven, Holly cherished her grandchildren Damian Collins, Jordan Collins, James E. Featherman, Rico M. Delk, Elijah J. Myers, Evan W. Myers, and Monna Campbell, and was blessed with two great-grandchildren. Her presence in their lives was a guiding light, and her legacy of love and kindness will endure through them.
Holly was predeceased by her beloved parents, Lonnie and Gail, and her son, James Edwin Featherman III. Her enduring strength and perseverance in the face of loss were an inspiration to everyone around her.
In her professional life, Holly was the proud owner of Flying V Records. Her passion for music was evident in everything she did, and she was dedicated to nurturing talent and fostering a community that celebrated creativity and self-expression.
Beyond her career, Holly was known for her love of cats and her devotion to her family. She found immense joy in the simple pleasures of life and valued the time spent with those she loved.
