It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of a beloved daughter, mother, sister, and friend, Hillary Ann Freeman, who left us on June 21, 2026, at the age of 38. Born on February 1, 1988, in Columbus, Indiana, Hillary was a beacon of love and resilience, whose spirit touched all who had the privilege of knowing her. Hillary was the cherished daughter of Robin (Steve) Russell and Terry Green. Her family roots provided her with a deep sense of belonging and love, which she carried forward in her relationships. Though she is predeceased by her parents and grandparents, their legacy of warmth and kindness lived on through Hillary's actions and words. She was a devoted mother to her four children, Nevaeh Eaton, Peyton Green, and Clara and Dillon Creech, who were the center of her universe. Hillary's nurturing nature and unwavering support guided her children through life's many challenges and triumphs. Her love for them was boundless, and her presence in their lives was a source of strength and inspiration. Hillary is survived by her special friend, Michael Aumiller, whose companionship brought joy and comfort to her days. She shared a deep bond with her siblings, brother Aaron Green and sister Xena (Nick Keltz), who remember her as a sister who was always ready to lend an ear or offer a helping hand. Her nephews, Ian Worton, Trinity Green, and Koa Keltz, were an important part of her world, and she cherished every moment spent with them. In addition to her immediate family, Hillary was blessed with the joy of being a grandmother, a role she embraced with love and enthusiasm. Her grandchild was a source of immense pride and happiness, and she relished the opportunity to share her wisdom and warmth with the next generation. Hillary's educational journey was marked by determination and perseverance, culminating in her graduation from McDowell Adult Education in 2006. Her achievement was a testament to her strength of character and her commitment to personal growth. Hillary's life was celebrated in a private ceremony, allowing her family and close friends to honor her memory in an intimate setting. Though she left this world too soon, her spirit lives on in the hearts of those who knew her. The family wishes to express their gratitude for the outpouring of love and support during this difficult time. In lieu of flowers, they ask that you consider making a donation in Hillary's memory to a charity of your choice, as a way to continue her legacy of kindness and generosity. Hillary Ann Freeman will be remembered for her unwavering love, her compassionate nature, and her ability to find joy in every moment. Her life was a testament to the power of love, and her memory will be cherished forever by all who knew her.
