Herman Hall, Jr.

A life well lived... Herman Hall, Jr., affectionately known as Bo, was born July 10, 1952, to the late Herman Hall, Sr. (Hank), and Daisy Matlock Hall in Ofahoma, Mississippi. He was the eighth child of ten children. He departed this life on October 12, 2026 at his home. Bo's journey through life was marked by kindness, dedication, and an unwavering commitment to his loved ones. He was united in marriage to Lee Luckett on January 1, 1976, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Together, they built a beautiful life, rearing four wonderful children and a granddaughter: Robin, Mavis, Anthony, Lakeisha, and Sharrelle. His family was his pride and joy, and he adored his 11 grandchildren, one of whom preceded him in death, and 12 great-grandchildren. Although predeceased by his brother Charles, Bo's legacy of love continues through his surviving siblings Almarie, Allen, Elma, Erma, Essie, Marilyn, Michael, Sandra, and Derrell; many nieces and nephews; one aunt, Bettye Jean; special family members James "Honeyman" and Barbara "Baby-Ray"; and many relatives and friends. Bo's professional life began after graduating from Thomastown Attendance Center in 1971. He was a dedicated employee with Glidden Paint Co. in Chicago and later Miller Compressing Co. in Milwaukee until his retirement in 2012. Upon his retirement and move back to Mississippi, he reunited with Greenwood Chapel United Methodist Church. He was a man of many passions, enjoying fishing, grilling, and visiting friends and relatives. His warmth and generosity touched the lives of many. Whenever invited, and sometimes not, he always made his presence known. Bo will be remembered as a husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend. His legacy will live on in the hearts of all who knew him, and he will be dearly missed by those who loved him.
