It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Henry Moore, who left this world peacefully on August 28, 2026, at the age of 76. Henry was born on December 12, 1949, in the vibrant city of Jacksonville, Florida, where he spent his formative years surrounded by the love of family and friends. Henry was a man of integrity, warmth, and generosity. Those who knew him will remember his unwavering kindness, his infectious laughter, and the deep sense of compassion that guided his life. He was a devoted husband, a loving father, and an adoring grandfather, whose family was the center of his universe. He is survived by his cherished wife, Vivian Moore, whose partnership and companionship were the cornerstones of his life. Together, they built a home filled with laughter, love, and countless treasured memories. Henry's legacy lives on through his two sons, Eddie Moore and James Moore, who inherited their father's strength, wisdom, and gentle spirit. His six grandchildren, Chris, Quan, Samuel, Darrell, Jasmine, Ashley, Alexis, and Jamesha, were the joy of his later years. Each grandchild held a special place in his heart, and he took immense pride in watching them grow and thrive. In his professional life, Henry was known for his diligence and dedication. He approached every task with a smile and a determination that inspired those around him. Beyond his work, Henry was a passionate advocate for his community, always striving to make the world a better place for future generations. Although we will gather privately to honor and celebrate Henry's life, the impact of his presence will be felt by all who had the privilege of knowing him. His memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who loved him. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to a charity of your choice, in honor of Henry's generous spirit and enduring legacy of giving. As we say goodbye to our beloved Henry, we remember a life well-lived and a soul that touched the hearts of many.
