In Loving Memory

Henry Carnell Bryant
April 2, 1948 — October 15, 2026
Henry Carnell Bryant, affectionately known as “Carnell” and “Hen,” was born on April 2, 1948, in Rose Hill, North Carolina, to the late Norman Henry Bryant and Bessie Graham Bryant. He peacefully entered eternal rest on October 15, 2026, at his home in Bolton, North Carolina.
Carnell attended the Pender County School System, where he met his school sweetheart and future wife, Brenda Robinson Bryant, the love of his life. Their union was blessed with one daughter, Jacqueline Bryant Porter. He was also the father of LaFredrick Bryant.
Known for his warm smile, jovial spirit, and love for all things "Oldies but Goodies," Carnell never met a stranger. He was an avid wrestling fan who enjoyed fishing, grilling, and spending quality time with family. He cherished every opportunity to gather with loved ones and create lasting memories. Raised on a family farm, Carnell developed a deep love for agriculture that led to a 57-year career as a cattle rancher. Ranching was more than a livelihood to him; it was a source of pride, purpose, and great joy.
Carnell leaves to cherish his memory his devoted wife, Brenda Robinson Bryant; his children, Jacquline Porter and LaFredrick Bryant; his granddaughter, Alaya Bryant; and his special grandson, Tyran Boney. He is also survived by his siblings, Larry D. Bryant, Paul (Ann) Bryant, Gerald (Joyce) Bryant, Lenora (Edgar) Kenan, Regina Cooper, and Martha (Willie) Baker, along with a host of beloved nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. He was proceeded in death by a brother Willie Bryant, two sisters Sudie (Joe)Carlton and Carolyn (CJ) Newkirk.
He leaves a legacy of love, hard work, laughter, faith, and devotion to family that will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
