Born on July 3, 1948, in Mobile, Alabama, Henrietta graced this world with her presence for 77 remarkable years. Henrietta was the beloved daughter of Pearlie Mae and Otis Davis, who predeceased her, along with her devoted sisters Lillian Mickles and Etta Bradley. She also reunites in heaven with her cherished grandson Ivan William Morse, granddaughter Hannah Elise Ross Phillips, and great-grandson Braylon Darnell Morse. A nurturing soul, Henrietta’s legacy continues through her loving daughters, Marla Ross Poellnitz (Johnny), Karla Morse (Michael), and April Ross. Her unwavering love and wisdom live on in her grandchildren Brittini Morse, Bryant Poellnitz, Jaida Poellnitz, Xavia Morse, Michael Morse, Jazmyn Poellnitz, Brandon Morse, Blake Morse-Anderson, Karley Daniels, Xaylee Powe, Kensley Poellnitz, Kairo Powe, and Adrienne Blackman. Henrietta’s heart was expansive, encompassing those she loved like her own children: Jacqueline, Fred Andrews, Nina Mickles Lewis, James Tiffany Bradley, Ronald Ardita Bradley Richard, and Calandria Mickles. Henrietta's family also extends to her bonus children, Homer Jerome Cage, Hilliary Ray (Tina), and Karla Williams, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and other beloved family members. She was blessed with a multitude of other grandchildren who adored her, including Kourtney Myles, Kevin, Richard, deAndre Ronald Madison, Jaron, Kiaya, Amani, Aisha, Georgia, and DeAndre Jr. Henrietta's life was a testament to love, strength, and resilience. She was a beacon of wisdom and a source of comfort to all who knew her. Her home was a haven of warmth and laughter, and her kitchen the heart of countless gatherings. She instilled in her family the values of kindness, generosity, and the importance of community. Her friendships, too, were a testament to her generous spirit. Henrietta leaves behind dear friends who became like family, including best friends Blanche, Isaac, and Sandra Blackman, as well as a close-knit circle of friends who will miss her dearly. Henrietta’s life was a tapestry woven with love, laughter, and unyielding faith. Her departure leaves a void in the hearts of many, but her spirit lives on in the countless lives she touched.
