Irwin "Paul" Heller

Irwin "Paul" Heller, of Buffalo, NY, left this world peacefully on August 24, 2026, at the age of 87. Born in Buffalo on March 21, 1939, Paul was the beloved son of the late Emil and Mary (nee Davis) Heller. Throughout his life, he touched many lives with his kind heart and spirit. Paul (a Navy Vet) was a man of many talents and passions. Speaking four languages, he had a deep appreciation for the arts, finding joy in painting and immersing himself in the world of music. He took great pleasure in sharing the message of Jesus with others. He was preceded in death by his siblings Albert (Rae) Heller, Evelyn (Rudy) Heller, Rosamond Heller, Adele (Bill) and Maxine (Nelson) Mendez. Despite these losses, Paul's life was rich with the love of his surviving family, including many nieces and nephews who cherished their uncle's caring heart. A celebration of Paul's life will take place on August 31, 2026, with services held at the James E. Grace Funeral Home, located at 335 Ontario Street in Buffalo. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon, followed by a funeral service at 11:30 a.m., where family and friends will gather to honor him.
