Helen "Yvonne" Steck, born on December 13, 1957, in the city of Marietta, GA, peacefully went home from this world on October 8, 2026, surrounded by the warmth and love of her family. Her passing marks the end of a life filled with grace, kindness, strength and an unwavering dedication to those she cherished and Loved. Yvonne, as she was lovingly known, was a beacon of light to all who knew her. Her journey through life was a testament to her resilience, her nurturing spirit, and her boundless generosity. She touched the lives of many with her gentle smile and compassionate heart, and her straight forwardness, always ready to help you understand and also a listening ear. A life so beautifully lived leaves behind more than memories, it leaves pieces of it's self in every heart it has touched. Though she has taken her rest, her love remains in the lives of those she held dear. This beautiful soul leaves behind a legacy of love that will continue to flourish through her devoted daughter, Cassandra Michelle Young. Yvonne's spirit lives on in her grandchildren—Tellassian, Allyssia, Julien Young, and Ron-Michael Padgett—who each carry a piece of her warmth and wisdom. Her great-grandchildren, Lehlani Carr, Harmony, & Zrya Young, will grow up with the stories of a remarkable great-grandmother who adored them. Yvonne has proceeded her beloved sisters Cynthia McTaggart and Tammy Greene, sharing a bond that was both profound and enduring.
