Born on October 18, 1925, in the serene town of Lamar, Arkansas, to Zachariah and Beulah Trantham. Her life was a testament to the strength and grace with which she navigated a century marked by profound changes and steadfast family ties. Helen was predeceased by her loving parents, Zachariah and Beulah, her devoted brothers William (Bill), James Emmett, C.B. (Boyce), her beloved sister Marjorie, and her cherished son, Ronnie. Despite these profound losses, Helen's spirit remained unbroken, a testament to her enduring strength and resilience. Helen worked in construction, a field where she broke barriers and made lifelong friends. Her remarkable career was highlighted by her membership in The National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC), where she not only contributed her skills but also inspired many women who followed in her footsteps. Her dedication to her work was matched only by her dedication to her family, whom she adored deeply. A woman of boundless energy and warmth, Helen loved to travel across the country. She would often embark on spontaneous road trips, crossing state lines for family gatherings or just to surprise loved ones with her delightful visits. Her home was a sanctuary where family often gathered for vacations, creating a tapestry of cherished memories filled with laughter and love. Helen leaves behind a legacy of love and kinship through her surviving family members: nephew Loyd Trantham and his wife Darla, nieces Paula Campbell and Cynthia Trantham, great-nephews Nick and his wife Jennifer and their children Landry and Harper, Matt and wife Kristen, Clay and his wife Holly, Dan and his wife Tonya, Benjamin and his wife Stephanie, and Andrew with his wife Tammy. Her great-nieces, Jennifer Trantham and Melana Keller, and a vast network of family and friends also cherish her memory. In Helen's century-long journey, she touched the lives of many with her kindness, generosity, and unwavering love. Her legacy is one of warmth, strength, and an unyielding sense of adventure. She will be remembered fondly by all who had the privilege of knowing her, and her spirit will continue to guide and inspire her family for generations to come. A celebration of Helen's life will be held at Fairhaven Memorial Mortuary at 1:30pm. There will be a viewing from 11:00am - 1:00pm, where family and friends will gather to honor her remarkable journey and share the stories that reflect her enduring spirit. Helen L.
