Born on October 1, 1940, in the tranquil town of Mangochi, Malawi, Helen's journey was one marked by resilience, grace, and an unwavering devotion to her family and community. Helen was predeceased by her dearly missed children, Jim and Rothman, whose memories she cherished deeply. She is survived by her devoted children, Richard, Louis, Anna, Rosa, and Paul, who continued to be the pride and joy of her life. Her family legacy extended to her loving nephew George, as well as her adoring grandchildren and great-grandchildren, all of whom brought immense joy and fulfillment to her days. Helen was a beacon of love and strength. Her home was always open, her table always full, and her heart always welcoming. She had an incredible knack for weaving stories and traditions, ensuring that her rich cultural heritage lived on through the generations. Her laughter was infectious, and her wisdom, timeless. Helen's life was a testament to the power of faith and community. Her deep spirituality and commitment to her church were sources of inspiration to many. She found solace and joy in her involvement with her parish, offering her time and talents to those in need. Her compassionate spirit and unwavering kindness will be remembered by all who were fortunate enough to know her. A service celebrating Helen's life will be held on August 31, 2026, at 2:00 PM at the Limbe Cathedral. Family and friends are invited to come together to honor a life well-lived and to share in the stories and memories that Helen so lovingly created.
