Helen, born on May 7, 1955, in Lawton, Oklahoma, peacefully passed away in her sleep on October 14, 2026, after a recent illness. She was 71. Her departure leaves a profound void in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know her. Helen was the cherished daughter of RV and Helen Edwards. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Jerry Kimble, who succumbed to leukemia in April 2015. Her father, RV Edwards, passed away in May 1995 due to lung cancer, and her mother, Helen Edwards, left this world in February 2006 from complications of diabetes. Despite these profound losses, Helen remained a pillar of strength and grace for her family. Helen's legacy lives on through her loving children: Courtney Fields Hardin and her husband, Troy, in Castle Rock, Colorado; Christy Rochelle Jordan and Joshua Quickel in Oklahoma City; and Christopher James Jordan in Los Angeles, California. Her joy and love extended to her grandchildren, Atiana, Brandon, Ryan, Alex, and Lamar, as well as her four great-grandchildren, all of whom brought her immense happiness and pride. Helen's life was a testament to kindness, consideration, and a caring spirit. She possessed a remarkable ability to make others laugh, bringing joy to every room she entered. Her love for music, dancing, and movies, especially while eating popcorn, were simple pleasures that she cherished deeply. She enjoyed eating and cooking good food, playing bingo and was an avid shark movie fan. A private funeral service to honor Helen's life will be held on October 26, 2026, at A Better Place Funeral & Cremation Services, located at 7261 Washington Street, Denver, Colorado, 80229. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly suggests that donations be made to a charity of your choice, a gesture that Helen would have deeply appreciated. Helen's life was filled with laughter, love, and an unwavering dedication to her family. She will be remembered for her kind heart and the warmth she shared with everyone around her. Her spirit will continue to shine brightly in the stories and memories of those who loved her.
