It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Heladio Ramirez, a cherished husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. Heladio left this world on June 10, 2026, at the age of 74, after a courageous battle with diabetes. He was surrounded by the love of his family, leaving a legacy of warmth and kindness that will be felt for generations. Heladio was born on February 11, 1952, in the vibrant city of Cuernavaca, Morelos, Mexico, to his beloved parents, Cipriano and Filigonia Ramirez. He was the third of five children, growing up alongside his siblings Cruz, Juan, Pablo, and Raul. Though his brothers Pablo and Raul have predeceased him, Heladio’s bond with his remaining siblings stayed strong throughout his life. In 1977, Heladio embarked on a new chapter when he married the love of his life, Alicia Ramirez, in Texas. Together, they shared 48 wonderful years, filled with laughter, love, and mutual support. Their union was blessed with two children, Chato and Alma, who became the pride and joy of their lives. Heladio was a devoted father, always ready with a joke to lighten the mood and a warm smile that could brighten the darkest days. Heladio’s quick wit and generous spirit were renowned among all who had the pleasure of knowing him. He had an extraordinary gift for making everyone feel welcome and valued, whether they were a close friend or a stranger crossing his path. His kindness and generosity touched countless lives, leaving an indelible mark on everyone fortunate enough to know him. Heladio was also a beloved grandfather to his four grandchildren—Jessica, Filiberto, Viviana, and Raul—who cherished his stories and the wisdom he imparted. His legacy continues through his six great-grandchildren, who will grow up with the stories of their great-grandfather’s humor and heart. Though Heladio has left this earthly realm, his spirit lives on in the hearts of those who survive him: his loving wife Alicia, his children Chato and Alma, his siblings Cruz and Juan, and all his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In accordance with Heladio’s wishes, a private funeral ceremony will be held to honor his memory. While his physical presence will be deeply missed, the love and laughter he shared will resonate forever in the lives of those he touched. Heladio Ramirez’s life was a testament to the power of kindness and the joy of sharing laughter. As we bid farewell to a man who brought light into every room he entered, we hold dear the memories of his love and the lessons he imparted. May he rest in eternal peace, reunited with those who have gone before him, and may his legacy of joy and generosity continue to guide us all.
