She was predeceased by her beloved sisters, Josie and Shirley, her brothers Willis, Ed, and Douglas, and her beloved son Rance. Despite these profound losses, Hazel's spirit remained unbroken, and her heart unwavering. In the summer of 1982, Hazel found her soulmate in Mike Williams, with whom she shared a loving marriage of nearly 44 years. Their union, solemnized on July 24 in Bremerton, Washington, was a testament to enduring love and partnership. Hazel was a woman of many talents and interests. Her career began as a waitress and bartender, where her warm smile and genuine kindness made her a favorite among patrons. Later, she served as a tax specialist, offering her expertise and guidance with the utmost integrity. Hazel's heart was as vast as her skill set, and she dedicated herself to foster care, providing love and stability to many children who needed it most. A lover of nature's beauty, Hazel found joy in gardening, cultivating vibrant blooms, and nurturing life from the soil. Her creativity shone through in her photo booking, capturing cherished memories with a keen eye and a loving touch. A voracious reader, Hazel's mind was a treasure trove of stories and wisdom, which she generously shared with those around her. Hazel was a beacon of strength and wisdom to her family and friends. She was known for her unwavering commitment to doing what was right, standing by her word, and being someone you could always count on.
