Born on December 12, 1941, in the charming town of Winnsboro, South Carolina, Hattie was the youngest daughter of Nancy and John Feaster Sr. Her life was a testament to love, faith, and resilience, leaving an indelible mark on everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.
Hattie was a proud graduate of Carver Vocational High School, where she laid the foundation for a life characterized by dedication and service. She devoted over 25 years of her career to the Social Security Administration, where her commitment and professionalism enriched the lives of countless individuals. Her work was more than a job; it was a calling to serve her community with integrity and compassion.
Deeply rooted in her faith, Hattie found profound joy and purpose in serving Jehovah. Her spiritual journey was reflected in every aspect of her life, and she was known for her unwavering devotion and kindness. She was a familiar and vibrant presence at her meetings, always dressed impeccably and radiating warmth and grace. Her distinctive style, whether it was her meticulously styled hair or her elegant outfits, spoke volumes about her attention to detail and her zest for life.
Family was the cornerstone of Hattie's existence. She is predeceased by her loving parents, Nancy and John E. Feaster Sr., and her dear daughter, Deneen Cash, whom she missed deeply. Her legacy continues through her surviving family: her devoted son, George T. Cash; her caring daughter, Stacey D. Robinson; her supportive sister, Inez Feaster; her brother, John E. Feaster Jr.; her daughter-in-law, Marsha Cash; and her cherished grandchildren, Nicholas P. Richardson, Mya Thomas and Macy Cash. Hattie also leaves behind a host of other relatives and friends who were touched by her kindness and generosity.
Hattie's nurturing spirit extended beyond her immediate family, as she embraced her role as a grandmother with boundless love and joy. Her three grandchildren were her pride and joy, and she took immense pleasure in watching them grow and thrive.
A private ceremony will be held to honor Hattie's remarkable life. As we gather in spirit to celebrate her journey, we are reminded of the love she shared, the faith she lived, and the beauty she brought into the world.
