October 21, 1959 — June 13, 2026

With heavy hearts and profound sadness, we announce the sudden passing of Harvey Greif, a cherished husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend. Harvey left this world unexpectedly on June 13th, 2026, at the age of 66. Born on October 21st, 1959, in Regina, he was a beacon of warmth and kindness to all who knew him. Harvey was the beloved son of Peter and Cecelia Greif. He was predeceased by his father, Peter Greif, and siblings Terry Carlson and Kathy Syrnyk. Harvey is survived by his devoted wife, Donna, with whom he shared a deep and abiding love since their marriage on July 14, 1979. Together, they built a life centered around family, compassion, and mutual respect. He leaves behind a loving family who will forever cherish his memory: his children, Teresa (Will) Youngblut, Jay (Crystal) Bear, Chad Greif, Peter (Lynn) Greif, Robert (Maria) Greif, and Wendy (David) Gauthier. Harvey was also a proud grandfather to two adoring grandchildren and two wonderful great-grandchildren, all of whom brought immense joy to his life. Harvey had a gentle spirit and a passion for life's simple pleasures. He found contentment in the quiet moments, often enjoying the tranquil solace of his gazebo, where he would listen to music and reflect on life's beauty. He also had a fondness for playing mobile games, a hobby that kept his mind sharp and entertained. His presence was a source of comfort and joy to many, and his friendships were treasured deeply. Harvey’s legacy is one of love, laughter, and a generous heart that touched everyone he met. A service to celebrate Harvey's life will be held on June 25th, 2026, at 1:00 PM at the Holy Child Parish. Family and friends are invited to gather and share in the memory of a man whose life was a testament to kindness and love. In our hearts, Harvey will forever remain a guiding light and a reminder of the power of love and the importance of family. May he rest in peace, knowing he was profoundly loved and will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
