Harvey Buck Hohenstein

August 9, 1970 — September 28, 2026

In loving memory of Harvey "Buck" Hohenstein, who graced this world on August 9, 1970, in Henrietta, Texas, and departed for his heavenly abode on September 28, 2026. Buck was a man whose presence brought immense joy and laughter to all who had the privilege of knowing him. Born to Harrell Harvey and Pearl Lee Hohenstein, Buck was raised with love and values that he carried throughout his life. He graduated from Petrolia High School, where he formed friendships that lasted a lifetime. Buck had an infectious zest for life, which was evident in everything he did. For nearly three decades, Buck dedicated himself to his work at Wichita Metal Products, where he was respected for his unparalleled work ethic and his ability to bring humor to the workplace. Outside of his professional life, Buck found true joy in the simple pleasures. He loved being out in the woods, dancing, playing basketball, and darts. His favorite pastime was riding his Polaris Ranger, exploring the beauty of nature. Buck cherished time spent with family and friends, always ready with a quick wit and a warm smile that could light up any room. Buck's legacy lives on through his beloved daughter, Ashlynne Hohenstein, and his precious grandchildren, Makenna Lee and Crew Lee, who brought him endless pride and happiness. He is also survived by his siblings, Lee Richardson and her husband Scott, his brother Shane and his wife Jennifer Hohenstein, and his sister Sherry Dunn. Though he leaves behind a family who will miss him dearly, they find comfort in the thought that he is now reunited with his parents, Harvey and Pearl, dancing with the angels. In keeping with Buck's wishes, a private funeral ceremony will be held for close family and friends. The family expresses their heartfelt gratitude for the support and condolences received during this difficult time. For those who wish to honor Buck's memory, the family suggests making a donation to a charity of your choice in remembrance of his generous spirit and love for life. Buck touched the lives of many and will be remembered for his laughter, his kindness, and his unwavering love for his family. As we say goodbye, we carry his spirit with us, cherishing the memories of a life well-lived and a man well-loved.
