Harvey was born on June 13, 1961, in the vibrant town of Jackson, where he would spend a lifetime devoted to his family, his community, and his passions.
Harvey was a man of quiet strength and gentle humor, qualities that endeared him to everyone fortunate enough to know him. He was the cherished son of the late Williams Herbert Dennis and Karlene J. Chown, whose values of kindness and integrity he carried with him throughout his life. Harvey's journey on this earth was marked by unwavering love and dedication to his family, both those who preceded him and those who remain.
He is predeceased by dear family members Pam Russell, Bill Sierminski, and Butch Sierminski, with whom he shared countless cherished memories. His love for them was boundless, and their loss was deeply felt.
Harvey is survived by his beloved son, Andrew John Dennis, who was his pride and joy. Andrew carries forward his father's legacy of kindness and strength. Harvey's sister, Jackie Bilaski (Dennis), was his lifelong confidante and friend, sharing in his joys and supporting him through life's challenges. Additionally, he leaves behind his half-sister, Dallas Richardson (Sierminski), and half-brother, Mike Sierminski, who were cherished members of his family.
Though Harvey's life was not blessed with grandchildren, his nurturing spirit and wisdom touched the lives of many young people in his community. He had a profound impact on those he mentored and guided, leaving an indelible mark on their hearts.
As a respected member of his community, Harvey was known for his unwavering dedication to helping others. He had an innate ability to make everyone feel valued and heard, and he took great pride in his work, always striving to make a difference. His legacy of compassion and service will continue to inspire all who knew him.
In accordance with Harvey's wishes, a private funeral ceremony will be held to honor his memory. While we respect the family's desire for privacy during this difficult time, we invite those who knew Harvey to celebrate his life by carrying forward his spirit of kindness, generosity, and love.
Harvey Benjamin Dennis will be remembered as a beacon of light, a source of strength and compassion, and a loving father, brother, and friend.
