February 17, 1970 — July 10, 2026

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Harry Joseph Reed, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. Harry peacefully left us on July 10, 2026, in Lakewood, Washington at the age of 56. Born on February 17, 1970, in the serene surroundings of Pohnpei, Micronesia, Harry's journey through life was marked by unwavering love, laughter, and an indelible spirit that touched everyone he met. Harry was the cherished son of the late Herman and Orpa Reed, and was predeceased by his older brother, Herman Jr. Reed. He is lovingly remembered by his partner in life and love, Grace David, with whom he shared 34 years of marriage, filled with joy, adventure, and unwavering companionship. Together, they built a beautiful family, raising two wonderful children, Hunter Reed, married to Shiann Meninzor, and Hokulani Reed, married to Calvin Salomon. Harry's legacy continues through his six adoring grandchildren: Dexter Salomon, Iverson Reed, Hailey Reed, Emily Salomon, Max Salomon, and Nalani Reed, each a testament to his love and guidance. Harry was a beacon of light in the lives of his siblings, Harry Reed, Harold Reed, and Haukea Reed. His quick wit, warm smile, and knack for storytelling made him the heart of every gathering, always ready with a joke to lighten the mood and a kind word to make everyone feel at home. His kindness and generosity knew no bounds, and he leaves behind a legacy of love and compassion that has touched countless lives. In addition to his immediate family, Harry leaves behind a cherished memory in the hearts of his many friends and extended family. His ability to make those around him feel valued and loved was unparalleled, and his presence will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. A private funeral ceremony will be held to honor Harry's life, in accordance with the family's wishes. The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to everyone who offered their support and kindness, particularly in Harry's final days. They find comfort in the thought that "He will forever live in our hearts and minds." In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Harry's memory to charities that support community kindness and generosity, reflecting the values he held dear throughout his life. Harry Joseph Reed's legacy is one of love, laughter, and unwavering kindness. Though he may have departed from this world, his spirit will continue to guide and inspire us all.

The Lord's Prayer

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever and ever. Amen.
