Harry Glen Purvis

Harry was a proud Veteran who served three tours in Vietnam. After an injury left him confined to a wheelchair, Harry still found joy in life. He loved his family, enjoyed thrilling movies, was amazing at word search puzzles, loved sitting outside to feed the birds and squirrels, and of course watching his Crimson Tide....ROLL TIDE! Harry was preceded in death by his mother, Earline Williams, sister Carol Jean Ivey; brothers J.C. Purvis and Earl Purvis, and sister-in-law Helen Purvis. Harry is survived by his nephews Jimmy Purvis (Jody) and Joe Purvis. Nieces Denise Ferrer (Richard) and Stephanie Ivey McAleer (John); as well as four great nieces and one great nephew. Our family would like to thank the wonderful caregivers who through the years became like family. We would especially like to thank: Angie, Ashley, Willie, Jezelle, Railey, Mary, Marie, Shay, Jennifer and Gwin.
