With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Harold Hunter, a beloved father, brother, grandfather, and friend. Harold departed this world peacefully on July 3, 2026, at his home in Fulshear, Texas, surrounded by the love of his family, after bravely battling cancer. Born on November 12, 1941, in the warm embrace of Fulshear, Texas, Harold was the cherished son of the late Harold Hunter Sr. and Annie Parker. He carried the values instilled in him by his parents throughout his life, leaving an indelible mark on everyone he met. Harold was predeceased by his dear wife, Bessie May Hunter, whose memory he cherished deeply. Together, they built a family full of love and laughter. Harold is survived by his devoted daughters, Lillie Bee Hunter, Betty Hunter, Elaine Barley-Mosley, and Tisha Webster, who will forever cherish the lessons of strength and compassion imparted by their father. He also leaves behind his beloved sister, Florene Perry, and brothers, Leeroy Hunter, Roy Rogers, and Jake Allen Rogers, who were his lifelong companions and confidants. Harold's legacy lives on through his 14 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren, each a testament to the love and wisdom he shared. His family was his greatest joy, and his pride in their achievements was immeasurable. A proud graduate of Lamar High School, Harold went on to partner with a lawyer, dedicating his career to helping those affected by accidents. His commitment to justice and advocacy for others was unwavering, earning him the respect and admiration of colleagues and clients alike. An active member of his church, Harold's faith was a guiding force in his life, providing strength and comfort to him and those around him. Beyond his professional and spiritual endeavors, Harold had a passion for music. He found solace and expression through playing the lead bass guitar in a band he later formed, bringing joy to many through his melodies. A celebration of Harold's life will be held on July 18, 2026, at 12:00 PM at the Encampment Building, located at 33311 Ashe Rd, Simonton, Texas. Family and friends are invited to gather to remember a life well-lived and to share stories of the remarkable man Harold was. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to a charity of your choice, reflecting Harold’s spirit of generosity and care for others. Harold Hunter leaves behind a legacy of love, resilience, and kindness. His life was a testament to the power of perseverance and the impact one individual can have on the lives of many. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
