It is with heavy hearts and profound respect that we announce the passing of Harold Glenn Williams, a beloved father, grandfather, brother, and friend, who departed from this world on April 13, 2026. Born on October 11, 1958, in the city of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Harold spent his formative years surrounded by the open skies and warm fields that would come to shape his indomitable spirit and artistic soul. Harold was the cherished son of the late John Glenn Williams and Juanita Clara Williams and grew up alongside his siblings, Gloria Clements and Sharon Abrahamson, who remember him fondly for his playful spirit and deep-rooted loyalty. Though he was predeceased by his parents and brother, Dave Williams, his memory lives on in the hearts of his family. In 1976, Harold graduated from Moriarty High, marking the beginning of a life characterized by hard work and boundless creativity. Over the span of 35 years, he spent his professional life at Cemco, where he honed his skills as a master welder, crafting not only rock crushers but also exquisite works of art that spoke to his innate talent and artistic vision. His creations were not just steel and fire; they were reflections of his heart and soul. Harold’s life was a tapestry woven with vibrant threads of varied interests and passions. He saw art in every facet of life, from the steel sculptures he meticulously crafted to the wildflower bouquets he lovingly arranged for his daughter. An avid reader, Harold's library was a testament to his intellectual curiosity, housing works from Fyodor Dostoevsky to Jean M. Auel. In his later years, Harold found joy and solace on the family ranch's shooting range, sharing laughter and lively debates with friends and family. Above all, Harold was a man of deep thought and gentle kindness. His analytical mind often led those around him to ponder life’s complexities, while his empathetic nature provided comfort and understanding. He was known for his unique ability to balance humor with seriousness, and his unwavering determination saw him through life’s challenges with a tenacity that was uniquely his own. Harold shared 18 years of marriage with Debra Williams. Though their paths eventually led them in different directions, they remained devoted co-parents to their two children, Travis Lee Williams and Hannah Leigh Williams. With Ashley Williams who was also his daughter in heart, and his grandchildren Hailey Marie Williams and Glenn Thomas Williams, Harold's legacy of love and strength continues to flourish. Harold’s family will always remember his words, "I'll live the life I'm given and I'll die the death that comes my way," a testament to the life he lived with authenticity and courage. His cousin, Carl Williams, sister-in-law, Barbara Williams, and grandchildren, Hailey and Glenn, will forever carry the warmth of his memory in their hearts. Harold Glenn Williams passed away on the family ranch, the place he called home, surrounded by the serenity and beauty he cherished. His life will be celebrated in a private ceremony at the ranch, where his spirit will remain—a guardian over the land he loved. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you honor Harold’s memory by embracing the beauty in everyday life and carrying forward his legacy of kindness and creativity.
