Harold was a man of integrity and warmth, beloved by those who had the privilege to know him. He was the cherished son of Clifford Furman and Iva Potter, both of whom predeceased him. Harold's life was a testament to the values instilled in him by his loving parents: kindness, perseverance, and a genuine love for family and community. For three decades, Harold was the devoted husband of Sharon Findlay. Their marriage was a partnership grounded in love, mutual respect, and shared dreams. Together, they built a life filled with joy, laughter, and countless memories that will forever be cherished. Professionally, Harold dedicated his career to the Holland Patent schools, where he worked diligently and with great passion. His contributions to the educational community were profound, and he leaves behind a legacy of dedication and service. Outside of his professional life, Harold found immense joy in his hobbies. He was an avid collector and enthusiast of Lionel trains, finding solace and excitement in every intricate detail of his collection. His love for his dogs, Lady and Buddy, was evident to all who knew him. They were not just pets but true companions who brought him endless happiness and comfort. Harold's life was a tapestry of love, dedication, and simple pleasures. He touched the lives of many with his gentle spirit and unwavering kindness. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the honor of knowing him.
