Harlow A Whitaker

January 4, 2022 — June 4, 2026

It is with the deepest sorrow yet an enduring sense of gratitude for her short but impactful life that we announce the passing of our precious Harlow Anne Whitaker. Born on January 4, 2022, in the vibrant city of New Orleans, Louisiana, Harlow was a radiant beam of joy and love to her family and all who had the privilege of knowing her. She left this world peacefully on June 4, 2026, after bravely battling epilepsy, and though her time with us was brief, her spirit will remain eternally in our hearts. Harlow brought immense joy into the lives of her family, starting with her beloved mother, Brooke M. Whitaker, who was her constant source of love and strength. As a little girl, Harlow was a student at Thibodaux PHDC, and she attended St. Rose Elementary for Pre-K 3, where she charmed her teachers and classmates with her infectious laughter and warm-hearted kindness. Harlow was a frequent visitor to Ochsner Medical Center, where she received care with remarkable courage and grace for four years. The dedication and compassion of the medical team there were a testament to the impact she had on all who crossed her path. Her passions were as unique and delightful as she was. Harlow had an endearing love for Humpty Dumpty and anything to do with eggs, often giggling at the nursery rhyme's playful antics. Her fascination with cats was evident, as she would brighten at the mere sight of a feline friend. She adored immersing herself in the colorful world of Gabby's Dollhouse and found immense joy in dancing, her little feet tapping to the rhythm of life with an exuberance that was simply contagious. Harlow's personal qualities were as bright as the sunshine she brought into every room. Her laughter was a melody that could lift the heaviest of spirits, and her smile was a beacon of light that illuminated even the darkest days. Her dancing was an expression of her pure, unadulterated joy, and her kindness and gentle kisses were gifts to those fortunate enough to receive them. We invite family, friends, and all those whose lives were touched by Harlow to join us in celebrating her beautiful life on June 13, 2026. The service will be held at 10:00 AM at Moses Baptist Church, located at 1032 Canal Blvd, Thibodaux, LA 70301. It will be a time to honor her memory, share stories, and find solace in the loving community that surrounds us. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Harlow's memory to organizations supporting epilepsy research, in hopes of helping other families and children facing similar challenges. Harlow A. Whitaker may have danced through this world for only a few short years, but her impact was immeasurable. She taught us all the power of love, resilience, and the importance of cherishing every moment. Her sweet spirit will forever be a part of the fabric of our lives, and her memory will continue to inspire us.
