In Loving Memory of Harley Climer
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Harley Climer, a vibrant soul who departed this world on April 22, 2026, at the tender age of 28. Harley was born on January 15, 1998, in Modesto, and throughout his life, he touched the hearts of everyone he met with his warmth, humor, and unyielding spirit.
Harley faced his share of battles, most notably with addiction and mental health, and despite his valiant efforts, he was taken from us too soon. His journey is a reminder of the importance of compassion and understanding for those navigating similar paths.
Harley was the beloved son of Pup and Rhonda Climer. He joins his father, Pup Climer, and his dear aunt, Kim Miller, in eternal peace. His memory will continue to be cherished by his mother, Rhonda Climer, and his siblings, Lucas Thornsberry, Dustin Climer, Cody Climer, Misty Climer, and Megan Thornsberry. In their hearts, he leaves behind an indelible mark of love and laughter.
From a young age, Harley exhibited a zest for life that was infectious. He was an avid swimmer, where he found solace and joy, often likening the water to a second home. As a fisherman, he appreciated the quiet moments and the thrill of the catch, a pastime that he shared with family and friends. Harley was also known for his playful nature, always ready with a prank that would leave everyone in stitches, his laughter echoing long after the joke was over.
Weekends were never dull with Harley around. He found excitement in a friendly gamble and the camaraderie of a lively party. To Harley, life was about making memories and living each moment to the fullest.
Harley's greatest gift was his ability to make others smile. His kind demeanor and quick wit were a salve to many, and his jokes were a beacon of light even on the darkest of days. Those who met Harley left with a lighter heart, and his legacy of joy will continue to inspire those who knew him.
A celebration of Harley’s life will be held on May 20, 2026, at 10:00 am in the natural splendor of Yosemite National Park. This place, with its towering trees and breathtaking views, reflects the grandeur and beauty Harley saw in the world. Family and friends are invited to join in honoring a life that, although brief, was filled with extraordinary love and laughter.
As we gather to remember Harley, let us carry forward his spirit of kindness and humor, keeping his memory alive in the stories we share and the smiles we pass on. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to organizations supporting mental health and addiction recovery, in hopes of aiding those who continue to fight bravely.
Harley Climer will be dearly missed, but his spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those who loved him. May he rest in peace, enveloped in the love of those who went before him.
