In Loving Memory

HANSA MAMTORA
March 20, 1947 — August 14, 2026
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Hansa Mamtora, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, who left this world on August 14, 2026. Born on March 20, 1947, in the vibrant town of Upleta, India, Hansa graced the world with her presence, offering kindness, warmth, and joy to all who knew her.
Hansa's life was a testament to love and laughter, characterized by her quick wit and generous spirit. Her warm smile was a beacon of comfort and welcome to anyone who crossed her path. Known for her incredible culinary skills, Hansa loved cooking and found immense joy in entertaining her family and friends. Her home was often filled with the aroma of delicious meals, laughter, and the chatter of loved ones gathered around her table. Those who have had the pleasure of enjoying her cooking know how she honed her skills in perfecting the recipes. She was curious and learnt new techniques and cuisines.
Gardening was another of Hansa's passions. She tended to her vegetable garden with the same love and care she extended to her family; nurturing vibrant blooms and sharing the fruits of her labor with friends and neighbors. Her garden was a serene sanctuary, a reflection of her gentle soul and her appreciation for the beauty of nature.
In her family, Hansa found her greatest joy. She is survived by her devoted husband, Vinod, who was her partner in life and love. Together, they built a family rooted in love and respect. Their children, Kavita and Rupal, along with Rupal's husband Jasbir, were the pride of her life. As a grandmother, Hansa cherished her four grandchildren, Karishma, Arjun, Sanya and Arya; each of whom brought her immeasurable happiness and delight. She has been a huge influence with active involvement in raising of Karishma and Arjun with her influence and involvement helping them be grounded and thrive.
While Hansa may no longer be with us in body, her spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew her. Her legacy of kindness, generosity, and love will continue to inspire and guide her family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Hansa's memory to a charity of your choice, celebrating her life by giving back to the community she cherished so deeply.
Hansa Mamtora, though no longer with us, leaves behind a legacy of love that will continue to bloom in the hearts of all who were fortunate to know her.
