Born on August 14, 1980, in the vibrant city of Santo Domingo, Republica Dominicana, Hamlet lived a life rich in love, laughter, and dedication to his cherished family.
Hamlet was the beloved son of Paulina Alvarez and Jose Medrano. Though he is reunited with his mother, Paulina, in eternal peace, his legacy continues to thrive in the hearts of those he leaves behind. He is survived by his devoted wife, Julie Martinez, with whom he shared a beautiful and resilient marriage since 2016, a testament to their unwavering bond that began in 2010. Together, they created a loving home filled with joy and perseverance, overcoming life's trials and celebrating its joys hand in hand.
A father whose love knew no bounds, Hamlet's spirit lives on through his children, Natalia Medrano and Mysael Medrano, as well as his stepchildren, David, Julissa, Elizabeth, and Sarah Oquendo. His pride and joy were his 15 grandchildren, who brought immeasurable happiness to his life. Hamlet was a loving brother to Eliezer, Jose, and Christian Medrano, and Gonzalez Cabassa, and a cherished friend to many cousins, aunts, uncles, and countless friends.
Hamlet was known to all as an honorable man whose hard work and dedication to his family were unrivaled. He owned a successful business specializing in window tinting, where his work ethic and commitment to excellence were evident to all who knew him. Hamlet's warm smile and welcoming spirit could light up a room, and his love for making others laugh with his jokes and infectious laughter will be dearly missed.
A private funeral ceremony will be held at Funeraria Savica, located at J P Pina 20, San Cristobal, Republica Dominicana. The family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude to everyone who assisted in Hamlet's caregiving and to the extended family and friends who constantly reminded him of the love and care that surrounded him.
In this moment of sorrow, we find solace in the memories of a life well-lived and a man deeply loved. Hamlet Manuel Medrano Alvarez will forever remain in our hearts, his legacy a beacon of love and laughter that will continue to guide and inspire us.
