With heavy hearts, we announce the peaceful passing of Haji Nawab Nasari on April 15, 2026, at the age of 86. A beloved father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, Haji Nawab left this world surrounded by love, leaving behind a legacy that will be cherished forever.
Born on March 22, 1940, in the beautiful city of Kabul, Haji Nawab grew up under the nurturing care of his parents, Imran Nasari Faisal Nasari and Sultanbibi Nasari. He was predeceased by his dear family members Tourab Khan and Abdullah Jan, whom he held close to his heart throughout his life.
In 1965, Haji Nawab embarked on a lifelong journey of love and companionship when he married Shabana on June 15, in Kabul, Afghanistan. Together, they celebrated 61 years of marriage, raising two children in a home filled with laughter, wisdom, and warmth. Their union was a testament to enduring love and partnership, setting a beautiful example for their family.
Haji Nawab was a man of great character, whose gentle spirit and unwavering kindness touched the lives of everyone who knew him. He was not only a guiding light to his children but also a source of wisdom and inspiration to his five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. His legacy of love and resilience will continue to flourish through them.
Haji Nawab is survived by his loving children, Noor Nasari and Maryam Nasari, who carry forward his values and spirit. His treasured memories will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew him.
A funeral service honoring Haji Nawab's life will be held on April 15, 2026, at 14:00 at the Imam Azam Islamic Center, located at 4821 Westwind Dr NE Unit#8, Calgary, AB. Family and friends are invited to gather and share in the celebration of a life well-lived.
Haji Nawab Nasari’s departure leaves a profound void, but we find solace in the memories of his laughter, his stories, and the love he gave unconditionally. May his soul find eternal peace, and may we continue to honor his memory by living with the same kindness and generosity that he so effortlessly displayed.
