It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Gwendolyn Mae Stone, who departed this world peacefully at home on September 26, 2026. Born on May 21, 1946, in Atlanta, Georgia, Gwendolyn lived a life full of grace, warmth, and love that touched all who had the privilege of knowing her. Gwendolyn was the cherished daughter of Grace Davis and Eddie Lee Davis, who predeceased her and have now welcomed her to eternal rest. She was the devoted wife of Thomas Stone and a nurturing mother to her children, Adraine Morris, Reginald Morris (Wanda), and Miranda Green. Her loving spirit and unwavering support were constants in the lives of her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Her legacy is carried on by her grandchildren: Brandon Morris, Robbin Hardy, Armani Grant, Reginald Morris II, Meagan Hardy, Robert Hardy, and Calista Faust, as well as her great-grandchildren: Brandon Morris II, Brianna Morris, K'miyah Foulk, Mahzi Lewis, and Monte'. Each of them brought immense joy to Gwendolyn's life, and she took great pride in their accomplishments and happiness. Gwendolyn was predeceased by her dear parents, Eddie Davis and Gwen Davis, as well as her brothers, Eddie Davis Jr. and Robert Davis Sr. She is survived by her siblings, Belinda Horton, Del Daniels, Judy Lofton, Daniel Davis Sr., Jerome Davis Sr., Alonzo Davis, and Alberta Davis-Thornton, all of whom shared an unbreakable bond with her. A woman of great strength and compassion, Gwendolyn was admired for her dedication to her family and her community. She was a beacon of kindness, always ready to lend a helping hand, offer a listening ear, or share a comforting word. Her warmth and generosity knew no bounds, and her memory will forever remain in the hearts of those she touched. The family will honor Gwendolyn's life with a service on October 10, 2026, at 11:00 AM at Gregory B. Levett and Sons Funeral Home, located at 351 N. Clarendon Ave, Scottdale, GA 30079. Friends and family are invited to come together to celebrate her remarkable life and bid farewell to a truly extraordinary woman.
