Gwendolyn was born on December 5, 1965, in Brooklyn, New York, to her beloved parents, Harry and Thelma Gray. Her journey through life was marked by grace, resilience, and an unwavering love for her family, friends, and community. Gwendolyn faced her battle with cancer with remarkable courage, never allowing the illness to define her spirit or diminish her warmth. Her final moments were spent in the comfort of her home, surrounded by love and cherished memories. As we come to terms with her loss, we find solace in knowing she is now at peace, reunited with her dear children, Rodney and Jazmeen Bullock, who predeceased her. Throughout her life, Gwendolyn was a beacon of strength and compassion. Her kindness and generosity were felt by all who had the privilege of knowing her. She was a devoted daughter, a loving mother, and a steadfast friend, offering support and encouragement to those around her. Her laughter was infectious, and her wisdom, often shared in gentle words, left lasting impressions on many. Gwendolyn's legacy is one of love and resilience. Though she is survived by no grandchildren or great-grandchildren, she leaves behind a community enriched by her presence and forever changed by her kindness. A memorial service to celebrate Gwendolyn's life will be held on May 6, 2026, at 10:00 AM at 425 Hoyt Street, Brooklyn, NY. Family, friends, and all whose lives were touched by Gwendolyn are invited to join in remembering and honoring her remarkable life. In honor of Gwendolyn's memory, the family requests that donations be made to cancer research, a cause close to her heart.
