Guido Coppola

October 19, 1930 — June 26, 2026

It is with heavy hearts and profound gratitude for a life well-lived that we announce the peaceful passing of Guido Coppola on June 26, 2026, at the age of 95. Born on October 19, 1930, in the picturesque town of Ruviano, Caserta, Italia, Guido's journey through life was marked by love, laughter, and an unwavering dedication to his cherished family and rich Italian traditions. Guido was the beloved son of Salvatore Coppola and Marzia Riccio, and he shared his early years with his brothers Luigi, Carlo, Pasquale, and Filippo, all of whom preceded him in death. On April 17, 1954, he married the love of his life, Mariantonia Cusano, in their hometown of Ruviano. Together, they built a beautiful life, blessed with nearly 60 years of marriage until Maria's passing in 2013. Guido's legacy is carried forward by his devoted family. He is survived by his eldest son, Salvatore, and his wife, Antonetta; daughter Maria, her husband Jon, and their daughters Madison and Malin; daughter Gina, her husband Stephen, and their children Ryan and Isabella; daughter Laura, her husband Scott, and their children Abagail and Matthew. His second son, Tony, and his ex-wife Cheryl mourn his passing alongside their children Michael, his wife Leanne, and their daughter Meadow; TJ and his partner April; daughter Lindsey, her husband Andrew, and their sons Connor and Logan; and daughter Carly, her husband Matt, and their children James, Tyler, and Olivia. Guido is also survived by his sisters-in-law Antonietta and her husband Giulio, and Angelina and her husband Carlo. His extended family includes numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and countless others who had the privilege of knowing and loving him. Guido's life was a tapestry woven with the threads of his passions and interests. He delighted in hunting with his brothers and nephews, playing bocce at family gatherings, and cheering on his beloved New York Yankees. The crack of a baseball bat at Yankee Stadium was music to his ears. A nurturing hand in the garden, Guido found joy in growing vegetables, and he was a master at maintaining Italian traditions. His fig tree flourished under his care, and his tomato sauce, homemade wine, and cured meats were the flavors of family celebrations. With an easygoing personality and a heart full of love, Guido was a beacon of warmth and kindness to all who knew him. His infectious laughter and ever-present smile endeared him to many, and he was always ready with a joke or a kind word. Guido's spirit was a testament to a life filled with joy and simplicity, and those who crossed his path have only fond memories to share. The family wishes to extend their deepest gratitude to Compassus and all who provided compassionate care throughout Guido's journey. A special thanks is also extended to the church and family members who stood by us during this time, offering support and love. In this time of reflection, we celebrate Guido's remarkable journey—a life that touched so many and left an indelible mark on our hearts. As we gather to honor his memory, may we find comfort in knowing that his legacy of love and laughter will live on in each of us. A service to commemorate Guido's life will be held at [Church Name] on [Date and Time], followed by a celebration of his life filled with stories, laughter, and the vibrant spirit that he shared with us all.
