Guarionex A. Ramirez, cherished father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully on August 4, 2026, surrounded by those who loved him most. Born on March 6, 1942, in San Jose de la Matas, Dominican Republic, Guarionex was the beloved son of the late Lorenzo Ramirez and Loretta "Fidelia" Taveras Rodriguez. He is now reunited with them and his brother, Miguel Angel Ramirez, who predeceased him. Guarionex was a man of many talents and boundless energy, known for his quick wit and infectious smile. He served his country with pride in the Dominican Military before emigrating to the United States, where he built a life centered around hard work and family. As a skilled butcher and carpenter, Guarionex was renowned for his dedication and the joy he found in working with his hands. Family was the heart of Guarionex's world. He is survived by his devoted children: Robert Tomas Ramirez, Elizabeth Maria Ramirez, Diana Minerva Rodriguez, and Emmanuel Guarionex Ramirez. His legacy continues through his six cherished grandchildren: Nicholas Ramirez, Gloria Davis, Emmanuel Ramirez Jr, Victor "Enzo" Rodriguez, Mateo Rodriguez, and Diamaliz Ramirez. Guarionex also leaves behind his loving sisters, Leticia Muniz, Milagros Ramirez, and Migdalia Abreu, who will forever hold his memory dear. A lover of life, Guarionex found joy in simple pleasures. He was an avid dominoes player, a passionate cook who delighted in preparing meals for his family, and a joyful dancer, always ready to sway to the rhythms of bachata. His gregarious nature and love of conversation made him the heart of every gathering, as he could talk to anyone and brighten their day. Guarionex's family extends heartfelt gratitude to "Lily," his dedicated caregiver for the past six years. She cared for him with a love and dignity that enriched his life immeasurably, treating him with the kindness and respect he so deserved. A service to honor Guarionex's life will be held on August 6, 2026, at 8:30 a.m. at Vainieri Funeral Home, located at 5923 John F. Kennedy Blvd, North Bergen, NJ 07047. Friends and family are invited to gather and celebrate the life of a man who brought so much joy to those around him.
