In Loving Memory

Guadalupe Silvas
December 14, 1953 — June 23, 2026
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Guadalupe Silvas, who departed from this world peacefully on June 23, 2026, at her cherished home after a courageous battle with illness. Born on December 14, 1953, in Stonewall, Texas, Guadalupe was a beacon of love and kindness throughout her 72 years of life.
Guadalupe was the cherished daughter of Dolores S. Rodriguez and Henry T. Real, who preceded her in death. She was also preceded by her husband Jesus (Watusi) Silvas and beloved son, Jesus Estevan Silva, with whom she is now reunited in eternal rest.
On February 14, 1971, Guadalupe married the love of her life, Jesus (Watusi) Silvas. Together, they shared 26 beautiful years of marriage, embodying a selfless love for each other and for those around them. Their home was a sanctuary of warmth and hospitality, where friends often became family, and laughter echoed through the walls.
Guadalupe is survived by her loving children Norma and Carlos Padilla, and son Roy Dean Silva. Her legacy of love continues through her six grandchildren: Adrian and Colby Medran, Whitney and Taylor Medran, Ashley and Jeremy Castillo, Sadie and Daniel Ybarra, and Bekka Silvas, as well as her six great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her seven siblings and a multitude of nieces and nephews, all of whom were touched by her boundless affection and nurturing spirit.
An avid bingo enthusiast with a wanderlust spirit, Guadalupe embraced life with a zest that was as infectious as her laughter and as bright as her smile. Her home was never empty, and her heart never knew a stranger. Her natural maternal instincts and endless love for her family were the hallmarks of her character, leaving an indelible mark on everyone she encountered.
We invite all who knew and loved Guadalupe to join us in celebrating her remarkable life on June 28, 2026, at 2:00 PM. Services will be held at Kerrville Funeral Home, located at 1221 Junction Highway, Kerrville, Texas.
In honoring Guadalupe’s memory, we remember the joy she brought into our lives and the love she shared so generously. She will be deeply missed but forever remembered by all who were fortunate to be touched by her grace.
