Gregory Wayne Hollander, a beloved husband, father, brother, and friend, passed away on May 1, 2026, after courageously battling a lengthy illness. Born on June 20, 1968, in Cincinnati, Ohio, Greg lived a life full of love, dedication, and passion, leaving an indelible mark on everyone he met.
Greg was the devoted son of the late Wayne Adrian Hollander and Nancy Hollander, and he cherished his family deeply. He is predeceased by his parents and grandparents, Adrian and Mildred Hollander, who undoubtedly welcomed him with open arms. Greg is survived by his loving wife of 32 years, Andrea Jean Hollander, who stood by his side through every joy and challenge. Together, they built a beautiful life, filled with laughter and shared dreams.
He is also survived by his cherished son, Derrick Hollander, who was the pride and joy of his life. Greg's legacy lives on through Derrick, who carries forward his father's love for life and dedication to family. Greg's sister, Michelle (David) Scott, and brother, Brad (Angel) Hollander, will forever hold the memories of their brother close to their hearts. His nephew, Nolan Scott, along with a wide circle of extended family, including his son-in-law, Mary Jane Yockey, brother-in-law, James Yockey, and many dear cousins, will continue to celebrate his life.
Greg dedicated 30 years to his career as an electrician, a profession where he was respected for his skill and admired for his integrity. His colleagues remember him not only for his expertise but for his generous spirit and willingness to mentor others.
Outside of work, Greg was a pillar in the community, giving tirelessly of his time to youth sports. His passion for coaching basketball and baseball left a lasting impact on countless young athletes, especially through his cherished role as a coach for his son’s AABC baseball team. Greg was not only a teacher of technique but also a mentor in sportsmanship, instilling values that went beyond the field.
A man of many interests, Greg had a love for motorcycles, which brought him joy and a sense of freedom. The sight of him riding his Harley Davidson is a cherished memory for those who knew him well.
A service to honor and celebrate Greg's life will be held on May 7, 2026, at 11:00 AM at the Radel Funeral Home, located at 650 Neeb Road, Cincinnati, OH 45233. Friends and family are invited to gather and share in the warmth of the memories they hold dear.
