Gregory Charles Anderson

It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of Gregory Charles Anderson, who left this world on July 14, 2026, at the age of 46. Born on December 16, 1979, in Houston, Texas, Gregory was a beloved son, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He was the cherished son of Deloris Johnson and the late Robert Anderson Sr. Gregory's journey began in the vibrant city of Houston, where he was raised and educated. He attended Nathaniel Q. Henderson Elementary School, McReynolds Middle School, and Wheatley High School, where he forged lifelong friendships and developed a passion for learning. His education laid the foundation for a life full of purpose and dedication. Gregory was known for his unwavering commitment to his family. He was a devoted father to his daughter, Diamond Anderson, and took immense pride in being a grandfather to Khalil and Ka'hlani Dupard. His love extended to his surviving siblings, Garry Golden (Shatara), Elsie Anderson (Rodrick), Damion Johnson, and Reginald Murray (Honesty). Gregory's memory will forever be cherished by his seven nephews, two nieces, one great-nephew, six great-nieces, and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends who were all touched by his kindness and generosity. Gregory is now reunited with his father, Robert Anderson Sr., his sister Teresa Murra, his brother Robert Anderson Jr., and his beloved grandparents. Though our hearts are heavy with the loss of his physical presence, we take comfort in knowing he is at peace and watching over us.
