Gregory Bruce Deen

Gregory Bruce Deen, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away on July 31, 2026, at the age of 55. Born on September 1, 1970, in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, Gregory was the cherished son of the late Patricia Guadiane and Thomas Anthony Deen. He joins in eternal rest not only his parents but also his infant daughter Ashley and his grandmother, Anne Guadiane. Gregory was a man of deep love and devotion, especially to his wife, Cynthia Deen, with whom he shared 14 wonderful years of marriage. Together, they built a life filled with laughter, love, and countless precious memories. His children, Kimberly Majhi and her husband Partha, Dana Ortega and her husband John, Gregory Short, Trenton Whitman and his wife Kimberly, Ashley Deen, David Deen, Tiffany Deen and her husband Robert Caulder, Deanna Chambers, and Madison Chambers, were his pride and joy. He was also a doting grandfather to Faith, Gauge, Sadie, Mia, Madalynn, Mason, Kinsley, Mahala, Samantha, and Paris, each of whom brought immense happiness into his life. Gregory shared a special bond with his sisters, Cindy Deen and Jennifer Deen, who will forever cherish the memories they created together. He was a man whose unique sense of humor and endearing nature left a lasting impression on all who knew him. A proud graduate of East Gaston, class of 1988, Gregory served his country honorably as a US Navy Veteran. His dedication to service and community was also evident in his involvement with Covenant Church in Lincolnton, where he found fellowship and support. Gregory had a zest for life that was evident in his many passions. He loved nothing more than spending time on his boat, feeling the wind on his face as he rode his motorcycle, and relaxing in the hot tub after a long day. His adventurous spirit and love for the simple pleasures in life were truly inspiring. Though he was in the process of starting his own business, Gregory's true legacy lies in the love and warmth he shared with those around him. He will be remembered for his unwavering kindness, his infectious laughter, and the joy he brought to every room he entered. A private funeral ceremony will be held to honor Gregory's life, respecting his family's wishes for privacy during this difficult time. In lieu of flowers, those who wish to honor Gregory's memory may do so by donating to a charity of their choice. Gregory Bruce Deen will be deeply missed by all who knew him, but his spirit will live on in the hearts of those who loved him. May his soul rest in eternal peace.
