It is with heavy hearts and cherished memories that we announce the passing of Greg Brown, who departed this life on April 15, 2026, at the age of 45. Born on November 11, 1980, in Camden, New Jersey, Greg was a beacon of warmth and kindness, who shared the light of his spirit with all who knew him. He left this world peacefully, encircled by the love of family and friends, a testament to the deep connections he forged throughout his life.
Greg was the beloved son of Greg and Sharon Brown, who survive him and continue to be proud of the legacy of love and compassion he leaves behind. He is also survived by his devoted life partner, Annisa Jones, whose unwavering support and love enriched his days. Greg's pride and joy was his beloved daughter, Zarrah Brown, who was the center of his universe and his greatest accomplishment.
Greg's life was further blessed by the love of his siblings, Shantee Brown and Latoya Brown of New Jersey; Hafisah Mutakabbir and Muhammad Mutakabbir of Ohio; Chris Brown of Delaware; Danelle Stelle of Pennsylvania; and Mecca Hasan of Virginia. They, along with countless extended family members and friends, will forever hold him in their hearts.
A proud graduate of Camden High School, Greg pursued his passion for technology, earning an Associate's Degree in Computer Science from Cuyahoga Community College in Cleveland, Ohio. His career as a Computer Tech at Best Buy spanned a decade, during which he became a trusted and indispensable source of knowledge for colleagues and customers alike. His knack for solving complex computer issues with ease made him the go-to person for all things technical.
Beyond his professional life, Greg was an avid fisherman, finding peace and joy in the simple pleasures of casting a line and enjoying the beauty of nature. He had an innate talent for building and rebuilding computers, a hobby that not only showcased his technical prowess but also his boundless curiosity and creativity.
Greg's life will be celebrated on April 16, 2026, at 12:30 PM, with a service at Masjid Uqbah, located at 2222 Stroke Blvd, Cleveland, Ohio 44106. The Janaza Prayer will be a moment for family and friends to gather in unity, offering prayers and sharing fond memories of a remarkable man who touched so many lives.
