Greg Brown
November 11, 1980 — April 16, 2026
It is with heavy hearts and profound love that we announce the passing of Greg Brown, a cherished son, father, brother, and friend. Greg left this world peacefully on April 15, 2026, at the age of 45, enveloped by the warmth and love of his family and friends. His life, though brief, was rich with love, laughter, and countless cherished memories.
Born on November 11, 1980, in Camden, New Jersey, Greg was the beloved son of Greg and Sharon Brown. He grew up in a home filled with love and laughter, surrounded by his siblings, Shantee, Latoya, Hafisah, Muhammad, Chris, Danelle, and Mecca, with whom he shared unbreakable bonds and countless adventures.
Greg's formative years were spent in Camden, where he graduated from Camden High School. His passion for technology led him to further his education at Cuyahoga Community College in Cleveland, Ohio, where he earned an Associate's Degree in Computer Science. His natural aptitude for technology found him a home at Best Buy, where for a decade he was the go-to computer tech, known for his expertise, patience, and warm, friendly demeanor.
Beyond his professional life, Greg was a man of many passions. An avid fisherman, he found peace and joy in the simple tranquility of casting a line into the water. He also harbored a deep love for building and rebuilding computers, a hobby that allowed him to blend his technical skills with his creative spirit.
Of all his accomplishments, Greg was most proud of being a father to his remarkable daughter, Zarrah Brown. The bond they shared was extraordinary, and Greg's greatest joy was found in the moments they spent together, creating lifelong memories filled with laughter and love.
Greg shared his life and dreams with his life partner, Annisa Jones, who stood by his side through thick and thin. Together, they built a life filled with love, support, and shared passions.
Greg is survived by his devoted parents, Greg and Sharon, his cherished daughter Zarrah, his supportive siblings, and a host of extended family and friends who were privileged to know his kindness, generosity, and infectious smile.
A service to honor and celebrate Greg's life will be held on April 16, 2026, at 12:30 PM at Masjid Uqbah/Janaza Prayer, located at 2222 Stroke Blvd, Cleveland, Ohio 44106. Family, friends, and all whose lives were touched by Greg are invited to join us in remembering and celebrating the life of a truly remarkable and beloved man.
In this time of sorrow, we find solace in the legacy Greg leaves behind—a legacy of love, kindness, and indelible memories that will forever remain in our hearts. As we say goodbye, we celebrate a life well-lived, a heart well-loved, and a soul that touched us all.
May he rest in eternal peace.
