Grant left this world from the comfort of his home, surrounded by love, as he had lived his life—embraced by those closest to him. Born on December 23, 1964, in the vibrant city of Chicago, Grant was the cherished son of Mary and Jonny Harris. His early years were marked by the warmth and guidance of his parents, who instilled in him the values of kindness and integrity that he carried throughout his life. Grant was preceded in death by his dear brothers, Timothy Keke and Curtis Junior, whose memories he treasured and spoke of often. Their spirits remained a guiding light in his life, and now he joins them in eternal peace. A devoted father, Grant leaves behind a legacy of love through his children, who were the pride and joy of his existence. He shared with them a lifetime of wisdom, laughter, and unwavering support. His nurturing presence will be profoundly missed but forever felt in their hearts. Grant was also a proud grandfather to six wonderful grandchildren, each of whom brought him immense joy and happiness. He delighted in their achievements and cherished the special moments they shared, from family gatherings to simple, everyday joys. A man of quiet strength and gentle humor, Grant touched the lives of many with his compassionate spirit. He was well-regarded in his community for his willingness to lend a helping hand and his ability to listen deeply. His friendships were sincere and lasting, built on mutual respect and affection.
