In Loving Memory of Grandpa Leo On February 8, 2026, the world lost a beloved father, grandfather, and friend, Grandpa Leo, who passed away peacefully from health issues and natural causes. Born on March 21, 1946, in Beaumont, Texas, Leo was the cherished son of Freddie B. Williams and Leola Victoria. He was 79 years old at the time of his passing, and his life was a testament to the resilience and warmth of the human spirit. Leo's early years were marked by a deep-seated love for his family and community. He was predeceased by his loving parents, Freddie and Leola, his brother Patrick Jones, and sisters AnnaMarie Williams and Linda Williams. Although their absence left a void, Leo continued to carry their memories and values forward. As a young man in the 1960s, Leo was a proud member of the Black Panther Party, where he dedicated his energy to advocating for justice and equality. His commitment to these principles was a guiding force throughout his life. In 1968, Leo embarked on a career that saw him work at the Sandpoint Navy Base for a time before joining Boeing Co., where he contributed his skills and dedication for many years. His work ethic was admired by all who knew him, and his colleagues often spoke of his unwavering commitment and integrity. Beyond his professional achievements, Leo was a man of many passions. Those who knew him can attest to his love for cooking, especially his legendary Southern meals. His banana pudding was a particular favorite among his children, a sweet reminder of his nurturing spirit and culinary prowess. An enthusiastic dominoes player, Leo was known to "spank a champ," as he often put it, with his knack for counting the bones and reading the board. Leo's Southern charm and humor were infectious, often punctuated by his signature phrase, "be down then." He was rarely seen without his favorite Boss Man hat, a symbol of his distinctive style and vibrant personality. Leo's legacy lives on through his surviving family: his sons, Leo P. Victoria Jr. and Leon Victoria; his daughters, Natalie Ruth Victoria, Sandra Ann Victoria, and Lori Ann Richards; and his four sisters, Renee Williams, Charlotte Williams, Donna Williams, and Sharon Williams. He was a proud grandfather to 26 grandchildren and a doting great-grandfather to 32 great-grandchildren, each of whom carries a piece of his heart. The Victoria family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the staff at Evergreen Hospital and Kirkland Kidney Center for the compassionate care they provided to Leo. Their kindness and dedication will forever be remembered and appreciated. A service to celebrate the extraordinary life of Grandpa Leo will be held on March 6, 2026, at The Zion United House of Prayers, located at 429 21st Ave, Seattle, WA 98122. Family and friends are invited to gather and share their stories, laughter, and tears as they remember a man who touched so many lives with his kindness, humor, and unwavering love. Grandpa Leo's spirit will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew him. His life was a testament to the power of love, family, and community, and his memory will continue to inspire those he leaves behind.
