Laurie was a cherished daughter to Earl and Jemma Belton, who predeceased her, along with her dear sister, Marie Belton. As a devoted mother to Emanuel and Curtis, Laurie instilled in them the values of compassion and resilience. Her legacy continues through her 11 adoring grandchildren and one precious great-grandchild, who will carry her spirit forward. A true nurturer at heart, Laurie found immense joy in her kitchen, crafting delicious meals that became a cornerstone for family gatherings. Whether the occasion was joyous or challenging, Laurie had an incredible gift for uniting her family around a table brimming with her culinary delights. Her meals were not just food, but expressions of love that provided comfort and brought people together. Laurie was admired not only for her culinary skills but also for her genuine warmth and positive outlook on life. Her doors were always open, and her hugs were abundant, offering solace and support to anyone in need. As we gather to celebrate Laurie’s remarkable life, we invite family and friends to join us for her service on June 1, 2026, at 1:00 PM. The service will be held at 911 Steele Ave, Dayton, OH 45410, where we will honor the legacy of a woman who dedicated her life to love, family, and the simple joys of togetherness.
