Al was a man of few words, but his actions spoke volumes. A private and quite person by nature, he was a steadfast presence in the lives of those he cherished. His selflessness and willingness to help others, often silently and without expectation of recognition, left a lasting impact on all who knew him. Though much of Al's early life remains a mystery with unknown parents, his later years were filled with the warmth of family. He was predeceased by his longtime partner, Diane Troutman, with whom he shared countless cherished memories. Together, they created a loving and supportive home, building a legacy of compassion and kindness that will endure through the generations. Al was the proud grandfather to eight grandchildren, each of whom he adored deeply. Among them, his granddaughters Tamika Crymes, Ivy Troutman, and Tiana Brown held special places in his heart, as did his host of great-grandchildren, who brought him endless joy and pride. His family was his greatest treasure, and he dedicated his life to their happiness and well-being. The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the Hospice Care team, whose empathy and professionalism ensured that Al's final days were peaceful and painless.
