It is with heavy hearts, yet cherished memories, that we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved grandfather on May 25, 2026. Born on September 15, 1937, in the serene village of Kerala, India, he was a beacon of love, resilience, and unwavering faith throughout his remarkable 89 years. He was the second of four children born to the late Mr. Yohannan and the late Ms. Aachiyamma. He grew up in a Brethren family, surrounded by love and strong family values. He was the cornerstone of his family, always embodying the values his parents instilled in him. His siblings were his lifelong companions, and he cherished the bonds they shared. From a young age, he accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Savior. At the age of 18, he embarked on a career in government service, joining the PWD Roads Division. His service took him across Kollam, Pathanapuram, Punalur, and Kottarakkara, where he served with distinction and stood as an exemplary figure in every position God placed him in. His commitment to his work and community was admired by all who had the privilege of knowing him. His life was enriched by his loving wife, Podiyamma Samuel. Together, they built a family rooted in faith, and God blessed them with two children. He was a guiding light to his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, offering wisdom, love, and encouragement throughout their lives. Our grandfather was a man of profound wisdom and humility whose life was a testament to perseverance and grace. His gentle spirit and selfless love touched the hearts of many, leaving a lasting impression on all who knew him. His unwavering faith and trust in God were the cornerstones of his life, and his legacy will continue to inspire generations to come. As we gather to remember and celebrate his life, we find solace in the countless memories and the enduring love he shared with us all. Our grandfather will be dearly missed, but his spirit will forever remain in our hearts. May he rest in eternal peace.
