Godwin Agbonifo, a beloved husband, father, brother, and friend, passed away on August 13,2026, at Kaiser Hospital. Born on June 12, 1973, in Aki Igbanke, Nigeria, Godwin was a man whose life was defined by love, laughter, and service to others. Godwin was the cherished son of Mary and Steven Ijeh Agbonifo. Though his mother Mary predeceased him, her warmth and nurturing spirit lived on through Godwin's actions and character. He is survived by his devoted wife, Michelle, with whom he shared a beautiful marriage since September 29, 2012. Together, they raised Maurice and bonus child ,Michaela.His siblings as listed are Emmanuel, Festus,Fredrick, Augustine, Rita, and Blessing. A proud graduate of Gosco High School in Igbanke, Edo State, Godwin's career was marked by dedication and integrity. He served as a Security Officer for SECURITAS for a decade, earning respect and admiration from colleagues and clients alike. Godwin's faith played a central role in his life. As an active member of The Redeemed Christian Church of God, Kings Court Parish, he was known for his unwavering faith and commitment to his spiritual community. His involvement in the Bendelite Association further demonstrated his passion for community engagement and leadership. Those who knew Godwin will fondly remember his infectious sense of humor. He had an extraordinary ability to lift the spirits of everyone around him, always ready with a joke or a kind word. His love for soccer was a source of joy, and he cherished his Saturday games, which were as much about camaraderie as they were about the sport. A service to honor Godwin's life will be held on September 25, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Paramount Mortuary, located at 13843 Paramount Blvd, CA 90723. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to a charity of your choice in memory of Godwin. Godwin Agbonifo's legacy is one of love, laughter, and unwavering faith. He leaves behind a family who will forever treasure his memory and a community that is richer for having known him. May he rest in peace, embraced by the love of those who have gone before him.
