Glynn Edward’s Sproles

October 29, 1953 — October 16, 2026

In loving memory of Glynn Edward's Sproles, who peacefully departed this world on October 16, 2026, surrounded by the warmth and love of his family. Born on October 29, 1953, in the heart of Mississippi, Glynn was a beloved son to the late Virgil and Pauline Sproles, and a cherished father, grandfather, and friend to many. Glynn's life was a tapestry woven with love, hard work, and dedication. He spent 25 wonderful years married to the love of his life, Kathy Sue Rodman, with whom he shared the joy of raising six children. Together, they built a life filled with laughter, kindness, and unwavering support. Though Kathy preceded him in death, their love story remains a testament to the enduring power of true companionship. A proud and devoted father, Glynn leaves behind a legacy of love through his children: Johnny Rodman, Michael Rodman, Kevin Rodman and his wife Tabitha, James Sproles and his wife Christy, Marty and his wife Trina, and his daughter Tara Matthews and her husband Terrell, all of whom reside in Tulsa, Oklahoma and Sperry, Oklahoma. His family was his greatest treasure, and he cherished every moment spent with his nine grandchildren, who brought immeasurable joy to his life. Glynn was a dedicated truck driver, a profession that not only provided for his family but also allowed him to explore the open roads, bringing him a sense of freedom and fulfillment. His passion for driving was matched only by his love for spending time with his children, grandchildren, and his two beloved sisters. Together, they created countless memories filled with laughter, love, and shared stories. A private funeral ceremony will be held to honor Glynn's life, in accordance with his family's wishes. Though he will be sorely missed, his memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. In lieu of flowers, Glynn's family kindly requests that donations be made in his memory to a charity of your choice, honoring his spirit of generosity and compassion. Glynn Edward's Sproles will be remembered as a man of great strength and gentle kindness, whose love for his family was boundless. May his soul rest in eternal peace, and may his family find comfort in the legacy of love he leaves behind.
