Gloria Mae Richardson Rebollar

September 5, 1939 — May 22, 2026

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Gloria Mae Richardson Rebollar, who departed this life on May 22, 2026, at the age of 86. Gloria's journey began on September 5, 1939, in the warm and welcoming embrace of Goldsboro, North Carolina, where she was born to Loring and Reuben Hamilton. Her parents, along with her brother, David Bryant Sr., her special son, Steven Peterson, and her son, Weathers Richardson, have preceded her in death, welcoming her into their loving arms once more. Gloria's life was a testament to the strength, grace, and love she carried with her every day. She was a beacon of light and warmth, a gentle soul whose kindness and compassion touched everyone she met. Her legacy lives on in the hearts of all who knew her. She leaves behind a devoted family to cherish her memory: two loving daughters, Regina Triche' and Lindy Morrison, and a cherished son, Reginald Richardson. Gloria's heart and home were always open to her seven grandchildren, Carl and Andre McAdoo, Michele Wells, Kwaun'Daylo Richardson, Maisha Streeter, and Henri Triche, who will forever carry her spirit with them. Gloria's life was marked by her unwavering faith and dedication to her family and community. She was a pillar of strength, a source of endless wisdom, and a provider of unconditional love. Her warm smile and gentle laugh will be missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. The family invites friends and loved ones to join in a celebration of Gloria's life on May 29, 2026, at 11:00 AM at the Best Grove Missionary Baptist Church. It is here, in the sacred space where she found solace and strength, that we will gather to honor her life and legacy. Gloria's departure leaves a void that cannot be filled, but the love she spread and the memories she created will remain with us forever. As we say our final goodbyes, we take comfort in knowing that she is at peace, reunited with those who went before her. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to a charity of your choice in Gloria's name, to continue the legacy of kindness and generosity that defined her life. May her soul rest in eternal peace, and may her memory be a blessing to us all.
