Gloria Adams

January 2, 1963 — September 23, 2006

It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of Gloria Adams, a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, who left this world on September 23, 2006. Gloria was born on January 2, 1963, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, where she spent her early years surrounded by the love of her family and the vibrant community that shaped her into the compassionate and giving woman known to so many. Gloria’s life was a testament to kindness, resilience, and unwavering love. Her journey was marked by a deep commitment to her family, especially to her cherished daughter, Dibb Toya, and her ten treasured grandchildren. Gloria dedicated her life to nurturing and caring for her family, instilling in them the values of love, perseverance, and generosity. Her home was always open, a sanctuary filled with laughter, warmth, and the comforting aroma of her famous home-cooked meals. Friends and family remember Gloria as a pillar of strength, whose gentle spirit and infectious smile could light up any room. She had an uncanny ability to connect with people from all walks of life, offering a listening ear and a comforting presence. Her passion for helping others extended beyond her family; she was an active volunteer in her community, always ready to lend a hand to those in need. Beyond her nurturing spirit, Gloria had a remarkable zest for life. She found joy in the simple pleasures: tending to her garden, exploring the beauty of nature, and creating beautiful crafts. Her creativity knew no bounds, and she delighted in sharing her creations with loved ones, leaving behind cherished mementos that will continue to inspire those who knew her. A service to honor and celebrate Gloria’s life will be held on October 3, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at the Golden Gate. We invite all who knew and loved her to join us in remembering a remarkable woman who touched the lives of so many. As we gather to celebrate her life, we are reminded of the profound impact she had on everyone she met. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Gloria's memory to a charitable organization of your choice. This gesture reflects Gloria’s enduring spirit of generosity and her lifelong commitment to helping others. Though Gloria Adams may no longer be with us, her legacy of love and compassion will live on forever in the hearts of those she leaves behind. She will be dearly missed but never forgotten. May she rest in eternal peace.
