It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Glenn Wayne Jones, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, who left this world peacefully at his home on July 29, 2026. Born on April 23, 1948, in Dallas, Texas, Glenn was a cherished soul who touched the lives of many with his warmth and kindness. Glenn was the treasured son of the late Virginia Seriale and Joseph Jones, and he is now reunited with them, alongside his dear brother, Lenny Jones, and sister, Jenna Jones. He will be deeply missed by his devoted wife, Mary Doucet, whose partnership and love were the cornerstones of his life. Together, they built a family filled with love and laughter. He was the proud father of Avis Jones, whose accomplishments brought Glenn immense pride and joy. Glenn's legacy continues through his beloved grandson, Jonah Jones, who will carry forward the values and stories imparted by his grandfather. Although he did not have great-grandchildren, the love and wisdom he shared will undoubtedly echo through future generations. A man of integrity and compassion, Glenn dedicated his life to his family and community. His gentle spirit and unwavering kindness left an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of knowing him. Glenn's love for his family was unparalleled, and his ability to find joy in the simplest of moments will forever be remembered by those closest to him. The family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude to the staff at Medical City Hospital, whose compassionate care provided comfort during Glenn's final days. Their dedication and kindness will never be forgotten. In accordance with Glenn's wishes, a private funeral ceremony will be held to honor his memory. Though his absence leaves a profound void, his spirit will remain forever in the hearts of those who loved him. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Glenn's memory to the American Heart Association, an organization that held significant meaning in his life. While we grieve the loss of Glenn Wayne Jones, we celebrate the remarkable life he lived and the countless ways in which he enriched the lives of others.
