Glenn Harold Bergman

It is with heavy hearts and profound gratitude for a life well-lived that we announce the passing of Glenn Harold Bergman, beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend. Glenn peacefully left this world on April 3, 2026, at the age of 89, surrounded by the love and warmth of his family. Born on July 2, 1936, in the scenic town of Great Falls, Montana, Glenn was the cherished son of Kenneth H. Bergman and Helen Irene Bergman. From an early age, Glenn exhibited a keen intellect and a warm heart, traits that would shape his life and leave a lasting impact on all who had the privilege of knowing him. A proud graduate of Great Falls High School, Glenn pursued higher education at Montana State University, where he earned a degree in Civil Engineering. His passion for constructing and building was evident not only in his professional life but also in the way he carefully and lovingly built a life and family rich in love and foundational values. After completing his studies, Glenn served his country with honor and distinction in the Army Corps of Engineers for two years, a testament to his dedication and strong sense of duty. His career path led him to Hercules Inc. Baccus Plant in Salt Lake City, Utah, where he dedicated approximately 35 years of service. His colleagues and friends remember him as a man of integrity and wisdom, always ready with a kind word and a helping hand. On November 12, 1959, Glenn married the love of his life, Carlena Erwin, beginning a beautiful journey of partnership and shared dreams. Together they raised their family with unwavering love and dedication. Glenn is survived by his beloved wife Carlena E. Bergman and their four sons: David G. Bergman, M. Scott Bergman, Paul G. Bergman, and Gary J. Bergman. His legacy continues through his 11 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren, each of whom brought him immense joy and pride. A lifelong member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, Glenn's faith was a guiding light throughout his life. His love for music was nurtured early on, as he participated in high school musical productions such as "Mikado" and "H.M.S. Pinafore." His passion for singing continued through the years as he lent his voice to Ward choirs, enriching the lives of those around him with his joyful spirit and melodious voice. Family, friends, and community members are invited to celebrate Glenn's life and legacy at a service on April 11, 2026, at 11:00 AM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints located at 2400 E Alta Canyon Dr., Sandy, UT.
