February 21, 1953 - March 16, 2026
With heavy hearts yet profound gratitude for her life, we announce the passing of Glendora Head (Perkins), a beloved wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and friend. Glendora passed away peacefully on March 16, 2026, surrounded by the warmth and love of her family.
Born on February 21, 1953, in Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri, Glendora was the cherished daughter of Howard and Dorothy Perkins. She grew up with a deep respect for family values and developed a strong sense of compassion and kindness that she carried throughout her life. Glendora was predeceased by her loving parents and her beloved son, Anthony Perkins, whose memories she held close to her heart every day.
In 2005, Glendora married the love of her life, William Head. Together, they enjoyed over 20 years of unwavering devotion and companionship. Their union was a testament to a love that grew stronger with each passing day, marked by shared dreams, adventures, and an unyielding support for one another.
Glendora's family was her greatest pride and joy. She is survived by her devoted husband, William Head, and her children, who were the center of her world: her son Eugene Perkins and wife, her daughters Felicia Perkins and Dion. Her family expanded with the love of her brothers: Tommy Lane Scott, Wayne Perkins and his wife Ellen, Ira Perkins and his wife Denise, and her sister Anita Willis and her husband Kevin. Glendora was also a doting grandmother to nine grandchildren and a great-grandmother to seven great-grandchildren, each of whom was blessed by her gentle wisdom and unconditional love.
Her family remembers her as a beacon of strength and an unfaltering source of encouragement, always ready to lend a listening ear or a comforting embrace. Her warmth extended beyond her family to everyone she met, leaving an indelible mark on her community and all who had the privilege to know her.
Glendora's legacy is one of love, laughter, and resilience. She believed in the power of kindness and the importance of cherishing every moment. Her life was a rich tapestry of cherished memories and lessons that will continue to inspire those she leaves behind.
As we bid farewell to Glendora, we celebrate a life well-lived and a spirit that will forever remain in our hearts. Although she has departed from this world, her love will continue to surround her family, guiding them with the same tenderness and grace that defined her life.
A service to honor and celebrate Glendora's life will be held at a later date, where family and friends will gather to share stories and remember the beautiful soul she was. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Glendora's memory to a charity of choice, as a reflection of her generous spirit.
May Glendora Head (Perkins) rest in eternal peace, embraced by the love of those waiting for her in heaven, and may her memory be a blessing to all.
